Robbie Fulks writes, sings and plays like a runaway train. It looks so dangerous but you want to jump on board anyway because you know the ride will have big thrills and take your breath away. Robbie is an artist we have wanted to present for years but the timing never worked out, so we put him at the top of the priority list for this season. His songs are powered by grit and muscle, and leavened with pain and humor, often poking fun at big egos and big promises while being totally self-effacing and entertaining.
