ROCKIN’ ACOUSTIC CIRCUS: Hot Ticket
We wish we could take credit for discovering the next big thing in bluegrass music. We cannot, but we will be the first to bring this HOT TICKET band to Fort Smith. Having already caught the eyes and ears of many of the legends like Byron Berline and Sam Bush at many of the major festivals last season, the Rockin’ Acoustic Circus are on the fast track to stardom. They are not just hot, young pickers; they are breaking new ground. Family bands are a tradition in bluegrass, but even old jaded music biz types were falling all over themselves at the Folk Alliance Conference last February when we spotted this exciting group. We were dazzled by the talent and amazed by their grace and humility, balanced with their cool confidence on stage. With charm to burn, they simply have everything going for them and that is great news for Second Street Live.
