It is Jazz and it is HOT! We were looking for Tia Fuller but we did not know it. Her CD Decisive Steps landed in our mailbox and we were hooked. Composer, Educator and Saxophone phenom, Tia Fuller will turn Second Street Live into a Jazz Concert Venue this night. Though you may not recognize the name, Tia is known in the Jazz world as an up and coming star which makes her ideal for our Hot Ticket Series. As an artist her versatility has also placed her in high demand as a member and guest with the heavy weights of Jazz…that is, when she is not touring the world with R&B super star Beyonce. Amazing range is the key to Tia Fuller. Her life is an exercise in music immersion. She keeps a hefty schedule with her own quartet and in her spare time she appears with the T.S. Monk Septet, the Jon Faddis Jazz Orchestra, the Rufus Reid Septet, the Sean Jones Quintet, the Nancy Wilson Jazz Orchestra, and the Wycliff Gordan Septet. This is heavy company!
